(continued) Any-pre-counted Inventory Sheets provided to Capital must include NDC numbers.  This includes Pyxis, and other dispensing machine printouts.  If NDC numbers are not included in a usable format it could significantly delay your final report.  Note:  Pyxis 2000 machines have the capability of generating a file on disk.  We can use the file as long as NDC numbers have been previously entered into the machine’s database.

VERIFY DISPENSING MACHINE COUNTS for narcotics, bulk liquids, and repacks.  For example:  Often, Pyxis printouts will include the NDC number for a 10 ml vial, but the count will be per ml., this can quickly inflate the actual value in the machines.
